For Good Movement is behind 2 main initiatives that share a goal of an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economic system for all people and the planet –
but use 2 different avenues to achieve that goal:
Florida For Good (FFG) is a program for all businesses operating in Florida and is inspired by the global B Corp movement, which offers free resources, collaborative opportunities, and networking connections to facilitate the spread of business for good and Certified B Corporations®.
Florida For Good was created out of the desire to help nurture a purpose-driven approach to business and develop a focus on stakeholder capitalism. Through the 501(c)3 nonprofit For Good Movement, Inc., FFG serves as a connector between B Corps, Conscious Capitalism, 1% For The Planet, like-minded organizations/networks, governments/chambers, academia, and the local For Good ecosystems throughout the state.
The robust online presence promotes business responsibility to all companies, posts relevant events, offers a business directory of values-based businesses, and provides resources such as policy templates and the free impact assessment.
B Tourism is a global program that aims to connect the network of Certified B Corporation travel and tourism companies as well as other conscious travel organizations that take collective action for environmental and social justice. Inspired by the operational transparency and overall credibility of Certified B Corps, the program hopes to serve as a resource for the regenerative travel movement and to help travelers enjoy a vacation experience that understands interdependence and interconnectedness.
This program promotes utilizing tourism as a force for good so that travelers can cultivate connections with family & friends, create their own unique experiences and enrich appreciation for life itself while supporting companies that align with their values.
This is a welcoming space where the hospitality industry and tourism community can come together and share best practices, helpful guidance, and informative resources while showing stakeholders that they place value on the triple bottom line (people, planet, prosperity).
