What We Do

As a 50l(c)(3), our goal is to improve society, using the power of business and best practices from various related movements in collaboration for the greater good.

To weave environmental and social responsibility into everyday decisions, we need more Certified B Corporations and our ultimate success will be defined by how well we accomplish that. For all stakeholders to benefit from an equitable, regenerative, and inclusive world, we must look to measurable impact through 3rd party verifications, in order to track on-going progress and compare results.

For Good Movement has 2 main initiatives:

B Tourism is a global travel and tourism initiative among B Corps and other values-aligned organizations and is a shared vision and supportive action to ensure that the future of travel and tourism is a new model with inclusive and regenerative practices, a stakeholder orientation, and shared prosperity.

We envision a global tourism industry that uses travel as a force for good to help cities, regions, and countries improve the environmental, social, and economic performance of their visitor economy, and become more sustainable and healthy places to visit, meet and live in.

Florida For Good is the connector between B Corps, Conscious Capitalism, 1% for the Planet, like-minded organizations, government, academia, chambers, that allows us to promote business responsibility to all companies.

For business leaders who want to utilize their company as a force for good, Florida For Good provides free online resources, assistance with the B Corp Impact Assessment, and access to a purpose-driven community in order to lead all Florida businesses to create inclusive, equitable, transparent, and accountable companies for a shared and durable prosperity.

What Can
Businesses Do?

Business-as-usual is not addressing society’s challenges

  • Socially minded entrepreneurs and organizations are contributing to the greater good in whatever ways we can and choose.
  • Some create quality jobs, some foster healthier environments, some build stronger communities, and some tackle societal issues.
  • Some seek to buy from responsible companies, work for organizations with shared-value mentality, do business with companies that show they care.
  • With society’s infinite challenges and goals, it’s imperative for businesses to take on some responsibility and lead endeavors when we can.

WE NEED A MORE JUST ECONOMY THAT WORKS FOR EVERYONE AND FOR THE LONG TERM.

The Imperatives for Economic System Change represent the design objectives for the RESET: design for interdependenceinvest for justice; account for stakeholders. For each Imperative there are emerging pathways that come from a broad network of allies, illuminate a direction of travel for decision-makers across the private sector, government, and civil society and will evolve over time.
