And we are here for you as we work through this together. \n  \nSo much has changed in the world in the two weeks since we announced that the Conscious Capitalism Annual Conference was going virtual. We know that many of your businesses need to save every dollar you can to take care of your people and you need community\, insights to best practices\, and innovative solutions to get through this. \nThat’s why we are now offering this year’s Conscious Capitalism Annual Conference at no cost and expanding it to fill an entire month with daily sessions beginning this coming Monday\, March 30th. \n  \nFrom March 30th through May 1st\, at 12 pm PT/3:00 pm ET each day\, Conscious Capitalism’s Expanded Virtual Conference will provide you with an opportunity to connect with and learn from a business leader in our network via a “How To” webinar addressing day-to-day challenges: \n·     Mondays through Thursdays\, join your fellow Conscious Capitalists as we connect\, share\, and learn together in order to find creative\, stakeholder-oriented solutions to the challenges we are facing. \n·     Fridays\, we will help you nourish your conscious leadership through conscious connections so you can best serve your team and your community\, in an extended format. \n·     On the original conference dates\, April 14-16\, we will be offering extended programming and content. \n  \nEach Friday\, we will email you the schedule of next week’s webinars. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free screening and panel discussion of the Changing Seas episode Corals in Crisis!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAbout this Event\n\n\nAs part of the Speaking Sustainably Film Series\, South Florida PBS (WPBT2 – WXEL) and the Deering Estate invite you to a complimentary reception and screening of Corals in Crisis on Wednesday\, April 29th at 6:30pm at the Deering Estate Visitor Center Theatre. Reception begins at 6:30pm with light snacks and beverages. The screening will begin at 7:00pm. Following the screening guests can participate in a Q&A with featured experts and the production crew. Event is free and open to the public. \nEpisode description: \nFlorida’s fragile coral reefs are in crisis. Once vibrant cities of the sea\, these biodiverse ecosystems have declined over the past few decades. Fishing pressures\, pollution\, development\, and climate change have all left their mark. \nNow\, a new ailment known as “Stony Coral Tissue Loss Disease” may be the last nail in the coffin. This disease is infecting over half of the reef-building corals at an unprecedented scale\, killing most of the corals that get sick. But all hope is not lost. Experts of varying backgrounds are working diligently to figure out what is causing the disease\, while simultaneously developing techniques to treat outbreaks and restore the sunshine state’s coral reefs to their former glory.
