DESCRIPTION:Join us for our monthly eco-action event! This month is we wil be visiting St. Petersburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center with children from the Ovations School for the Arts to create solar powered lanterns with the residents of the center. We will begin the event with a brief overview on how solar energy works (for all ages)\, assembling the solar lanterns\, and then engaging in a multi-generational workshop activity like drawing our solar system or a diy sun dial.
